No Snow and Little Rings

Not much snow up here this winter has given us time to make a bunch of staking rings!

We are having so much fun designing new combinations!
This one is so patriotic!

Pick 5 Gold Earrings

I picked 5 earring designs that are classic and up to date and easy to wear for this blog post.
This new design was inspired, as most are, by my customer who wanted the dragonflies to be dancing in pairs.  How lovely is that!
Bill has really figured out the self locking earring.  With his work hardened spring gold design these are styles are great for people don't want to fuss with earnuts but want security.
Mirrored 3/4 wavey channel posts compliment her cheek bones and her smile.
Classic and timeless.  What else is there to say?
New for the season Rose Gold!  Love these moon and star twinkling in rose gold.

Fall Color at Harvest Gold

What a lovely fall season we have had so far.  The loons are mostly  gone now with only a few leaves left on the trees.
Watermelon tourmaline set in white gold the birthstone for October.
Upcycled diamonds from Grandmother's past in wearable stackable  yellow gold.
Blackberries are long gone as well, but remembered in these fun glass salt and peppers.
There is something about dragonflies.  People love them.
I just can't get enough of these tourmaline colors!
Beads and carvings, this gem is most versatile!

Nathan's glasses are the best.  Add color everyday.

And back to trees.  Feeling blessed to live in such a beautiful land.

Spring Color in Maine Tourmlaine

It's lovely here in downtown Center Lovell these days.  Birds are back singing and the streams are running.  We hope to see the end of this years ice soon!
Speaking of ice, a blue ice color, that is, this deep ice blue Maine tourmaline has a diamond on each side to give it that extra sparkle.
We have been working on new ideas for setting all our beautiful Maine tourmalines.  This new bracelet design fits close and comfortable with easy on, safe wearability and easy off.  The gorgeous Maine Rubellite is perfect center stage on your wrist.
The line between blue and green is blurred with these lovely Maine tourmalines together on a white gold band.  Depending on the light, the surrounding colors they dance between blue and green.  Like Kezar Lake when the ice is gone and the tall pines reflect their green hues, the sky it's many shades of blue, together on the sparkling surface of the ice free water.
Funny all the colors you see with these Maine bright blues and rich Rubellite tourmalines set together with white and yellow gold.  The pink has flashes of purple and orange.  The blues flicker sparks of bight purple and white.  And as always they change with their surrounding light and color.
Here they are all together.  I couldn't resist.  The golds are all different colors too.  Winter can be fun in the jewelry studio!
Cabochon style cut bright pink Maine tourmaline set in yellow gold has hints of orange and red.
Peach or champagne?  Or both!  Designer cut flawless Maine tourmaline with diamonds in yellow gold.  Rich with colors and sparkles, every angle a new delight.  This ring is fun to wear driving in the sun!
I'm ready for another fun day in the studio discovering what the gems want to be when they are set.

What a beautiful fall morning at Harvest Gold Gallery!

Good Morning All!
I wanted to take a minute and introduce myself as the newest addition to the Harvest Gold Gallery!  My name is Dianna.  I am overjoyed at the opportunity to work with Bill and Lynda in their utterly breathtaking Gallery, deceiving to the unseen eye, the gallery houses over 200 American Artists with 7 viewing rooms to explore. Did I mention the Welcoming committee!?
The Welcoming Committee :)
My first day was quite surreal, I had the pleasure of meeting the radiant bride-to-be Tara, winner of the Real Maine Wedding of 2014! We were one of Tara's first stops to pick up her bridesmaids jewelry on her way to her destination wedding and might I just say, I couldn't Imagine a sweeter, more deserving Bride-to-be, just beautiful! We helped her pick out some additional gifts for her bridesmaids with a little help from our beloved "Cappy" (pictured above)

Joining The Harvest Gold Team: Thea!

Joining The Harvest Gold Team: Thea!

I'm so happy to be joining Bill and Lynda just as summer rolls in. Being an avid art-lover, starting work at the Gallery has been great just to be around so much beautiful scenery, artwork, and craftsmanship. My favorite parts of the Gallery are the back rooms, full of paintings and other art, usually lit with gorgeous natural light from the large back windows (which give a great view of Kezar Lake and the mountains).

I've been living in Fryeburg since I was three, and just last Sunday my friends and I graduated from Fryeburg Academy- just a a little ways from Harvest Gold. It's been great to finish that chapter of my life and begin moving on to higher education. I'll be majoring in fine arts at Alfred University next fall, and I'm grateful to be able to continue working with art in a new way here at the Gallery this summer.

I'm looking forward working with Bill and Lynda and playing a part in maintaining this beautiful space. Look out for new posts by me on our blog, Facebook page, Pinterest and Twitter. This summer is going to be a good one! Stop in to say hi, see the flowers blooming, and take a look at our new treasures here at Harvest Gold Gallery!
