All Kinds of New Art in the Gallery!
WOW, Harvest Gold has an incredible selection right now, ranging from beautifully handcrafted Jewelry, to the finest sculptures, to our very own local artist's beautiful paintings,
and even a few from away.

Varvara Harmon has painted some of those special spots we all know and love.

This landscape by Bonnie Ferguson catches your eye in the evening sunlight.

Joelle Goff brings this striking presence of a "Fainting Tulip" into the gallery, a large scale painting sure to embellish any room.

Sandy Crowell shows off her talent with this interesting and beautiful piece. The gatherer sits quietly, creating a sense of stillness and vitality for any wandering eye.

Gay Freeborn captures the spunky spirit of this little dog
contrasted with the checkerboard floor, to create this fun
portrait that will put a smile upon any dog lover's face.
Wade Zahares makes you smile with his beach lover's fun pastels.

Varvara Harmon has some new pieces where she captures the light in a very unique way.

At last Joelle Goff shines again in her magnificent portrait of this flower.
The lighting and shadowing of this photo is incredible and will brighten any spot.

Award Winning American Woodworker Now Showing at Harvest Gold Gallery

We are always excited to share with you, in some detail, the artists that we have show cased at the gallery, especially when they are from our own home state like Rob Jones, our featured artist of the week. Rob Jones is an award winning American Woodworker from Thomaston, Maine. He began his art by building, with assistance, his first banjo, an instrument that had always held an interest for him. Since then, he has built several instruments including banjos, a French horn, trombones, and a trumpet. His musical instruments are played by music professors. He entered his lobster carving in the Maine Sportsman Show and he won the People's Choice award and was hooked from that point on. To view some of his works visit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqWRsRDDb1M

At the gallery, we are delighted to have a sample of his very unique bowls, Baltic by Design. They come in four different sizes from small for a candle holder to large enough to be a center piece with fruit. With the wedding season upon us or Father's Day right around the corner, these would made a fabulous and timeless gift. Stop by any day!

Fun Day at the Coast

A perfect day on the Maine coast.  Sun was shining wind was whipping and the colors were amazing.

Out near the crashing waves you could feel the spray on your face.  How the seals can swim in this turbulence is a wonder.  They just act so relaxed.

Wade Zahares is now showing his prints at Arabica Coffee Shop in Portland Maine.  Two sisters working together to provide a great experience for your senses!
Stop in when you are in beautiful downtown Center Lovell for original American made fine art and Arabica Coffee Shop on Free Street in Portland for fine giclee prints.
